Betty Yake

Betty Jo Yake, 81, of Stinnett died Monday December 26, 2016. Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Minton Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Scott Wallace. Burial will follow at the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Betty was born on October 20, 1935 in Shamrock, TX, to Bob and Evelyn (Roach) Milum. She Married William Miles "Bill" Yake on December 21, 1953. Betty loved playing bingo and reading. She worked on her husband's ranch and fed everyone at the ranch.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, and her brothers Walter Milum and Terry Gale Milum.
Survivors are her son, Jodie Yake and wife, Jenniffer of Houston, her daughter Michelle Ivy and husband, Bob of Stinnett, and her sister, Janice Wheeler also of Stinnett. Her grandchildren, Cap Ivy and wife, Jessica, Austin Ivy, Dustin Ivy and wife Casey, Crystal Lewis and husband, Joe. She also had four great-grandchildren, Cambrie Ivy, Teagan Ivy, D.J. Ivy, and Dakota Jones.
