Beula Bell Nelson, 80, of Fritch, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her home in Fritch.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the Garden Of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park with Richard Kasko of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Beula will lie in state Monday, April 9, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.

Beula was born September 1, 1931 in Amherst, Texas to Hiram and Ruby Crabb. She was a longtime resident of the Fritch, Borger area, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fritch. Beula married Billy Joe Nelson December 23, 1948 in Borger, and was a homemaker. She loved to cook, listening to country music, and watching her kids grow up playing baseball.

Survivors include her husband Bill two sons Larry Gene Nelson of Fritch, Billy Dean Nelson and wife Constance of Huffman, Texas a daughter Dianna Lynn Martin of Fritch a sister Patsy Hay and husband Gene of Oklahoma City a sisterinlaw Billie Nell Crab of White Rock, New Mexico a granddaughter Billie Nelson of Dayton a grandson Christopher Nelson of Houston a greatgrandson Andrew Nelson of Houston and one greatgrandchild on the way.

Beula is preceded in death by her parents, and soninlaw Richard Martin.
