Bill Casey

Bill G. "Brown Eyes" Casey, 90, died December 24, 2017 in Borger. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Les Sharp, Faith Covenant Church officiating. Military rites will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Bill was born January 25, 1927 in Paris, TX to Bill Casey, Sr. and Mildred Vandever Casey. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy and has lived in Borger since 1947 working as an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of The Church of Christ of Borger and married Mildred "Millie" Purvis on December 24, 1947 in Borger. Bill loved to Golf, play dominoes and Bowling, having a coveted 300 ring. He loved being on their houseboat at Lake Meredith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Millie, and his great grandson Austin Keith.

Bill is survived by his son Larry Casey and his wife Julie of Borger and his daughter Carla Sue Barber and her husband Billy Ray also of Borger, 7 Grandchildren; Elaine, Michael, Becky, Bobby, Mazie, Kate and Paul Robert and 16 great grandchildren.
