Billie Ammons

Billie Mae Ammons, 82 of Borger died Friday May 22nd in Borger. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday May 29th at Highland Park Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Lane pastor First United Methodist Church of White Deer officiating. Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Family visitation will be Thursday May 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Billie was born April 17, 1933 in Waco, TX to Elmer and Irene Gore Wheeler. She was a checker for Holts Grocery for 15 years. She married Robert Ammons April 15, 1977 in Borger. She was a very generous lady.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

She is survived by a son Rusty Ricks and wife Lois of White Deer, TX. Five grandchildren John Ricks of Oklahoma City, Matthew Ricks and wife Kate of Oklahoma City, Shannara Waits and husband Michael of Pflugerville, Dustin Robertson of Enid, OK and Kaegan Ricks of Dallas. Three great grandchildren Madelyn Ricks, Emily Ricks and Desmond Waits.
