Billie Gene Davidson “Tractor Bill” of Borger, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2024, at Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1933, in Alva, Oklahoma.

Bill graduated high school in Freedom, Oklahoma in 1952. He then started his long-time career with Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1987. He met Doris Oleta Neighbors and married on October 9, 1954, in Alva, Oklahoma. They had two children, Norma Jean Miller and Gary Davidson.

After retirement, Bill and Gary spent many years restoring antique tractors, winning many trophies in area parades. In his later years, he made wooden letter holders and Kleenex box holders. Bill was well known at United Supermarket for his daily visits to the produce department. 

Bill accepted Jesus much to everyone’s surprise the day after Doris passed away at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors, he faithfully went to church twice a week until his health prevented it. 

He is survived by his daughter, Norma Miller, son Gary Davidson, both from Darrouzett, Texas; grandson Billy Gonzales and wife Taiya, granddaughter Aidiya, grandson Cillian from St. Louis, Missouri, granddaughter Emma Graves, grandchildren Rowan, Christian, Easton, and Teagan from Perryton, Texas, Stewart Miller from Perryton, two nieces, one nephew, and many friends.
