Billie Faye Richardson

Billie Faye Richardson, 93, passed away August 11, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Church of Christ at Borger . Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Billie Faye was born March 5, 1930 in De Leon, Texas to Harry Robert Bauer and Lillie Pearl Ruff Bauer.  She married Raymond Dee Richardson on March 3, 1951 in Stephenville, Texas.  They moved to Borger in 1954.  Billie Faye devoted 40 years of her life to Spradling Drilling Co.  She was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain guests.  She loved to sew and decorate her home.  She was a loving wife and mother.  Billie Faye loved her church family at the Church of Christ at Borger.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents, Robert and Pearl Bauer; and grandson-in-law, Jimmy Snead. 

Survivors include her son, Larry Richardson and wife Donna of Fritch; sister, Shirley Switzer and husband Jim of Blanket; granddaughter, Jessica Snead of Lubbock; grandson, Darren Richardson and wife Amelia of Fritch; two great-grandsons, Waylen Dee and Witten Ray Richardson; and a great-granddaughter, Kambreigh Joy Snead; nephew, Creath Switzer and niece, Courtney Brandstetter.

The family would like to thank Caprock Nursing for the wonderful care Billie was given the past two years. BSA Hospice was a blessing to our family.  

The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, August 14, 2023.
