Billie Moore

Billie Louise Moore, 93, died February 26, 2015 in Austin, TX. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Weldon Rives, interim pastor of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Moore was a longtime resident of Borger before moving to Austin ten years ago. She was born May 5, 1921 in Quanah, Texas to James Presley Watson and Ava Mae Richerson Watson.

She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Moore in 1979, her parents, her daughter Lanita Louise Moore in 1970 and her brother James Watson.

Billie is survived by her son James R. "Dickey" Moore and his wife Teresa Swaffar Moore of Austin, two grandchildren James Matthew Moore and Monica Renee Moore both of Austin and two great-grandsons James Elihu Moore and Daniel Vara both of Austin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
