Billie James Parsons, 80, died Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 in Panhandle, Texas.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Panhandle. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.BRBRBillie was born on Sepember 16, 1926 in Celeste, Texas and had been a Panhandle resident for 58 yerars. He was owneroperator of Bill's Farm Welding and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Panhandle. He married Clara Belle Kingham on September 2, 1960 in Vernon, TX. Billie loved to fish. He and Clara spent their winters at Toledo Bend Lake each year and would return home in the spring with enough fish to share with family, friends and neighbors. He was always making the rounds in Panhandle, drinking coffee and keeping up with community happenings. He gave anonomously to the need and will be missed by many.BRBRHis survivors include his wife, Clara of the home, son - Dennis Martin and his wife, Antha of Borger, four daughters - Sabra Powell and her husband, Dee and Tonya Curtis and her husband, Trent all of Flowermound, Tx., Paulette Dozier and her husband, David and Kay Williams and her husband, C.E. all of Panhandle, two brothers - Joe Parsons and wife, Nancy of Wolfe City, Tx., Robert Parsons wife, Martha of Greenville, Tx., sister - Lola Faye Tucker of Nashville, Ark., fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.BRBRCsket bearers will be Lance Williams, Matt Martin, Jerad Martin, Chris Richardson, Derek Curtis and Richard Robinson.BRBRMemorials may be made to BSA Hospice, 800 N.
