Billy Blackwell

Billy Sylvester Blackwell, 45, passed from this life Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Amarillo.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Minton Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

He was born June 2, 1977 in Borger to Danny Blackwell and Betty Hess Blackwell.  He was a self employed handyman with A to Z Handyman services.  He married Ashley Rathbun September 2, 2022 in Borger.  Billy loved his family and especially liked to pester the kids and tell corny dad jokes.  He loved camping and grilling anything and was a very giving person.

He was preceded in death by his father Danny and his grandson Tyler.

Billy is survived by his wife Ashley, his mother Betty Blackwell of Borger, his son Logan Blackwell of Borger, his daughter Sierra Howard and her husband Jared of Decatur, his brother Tommy Blackwell and his wife Linda of Borger, his four grandchildren Gage, Lance, Dallas and Zoey, his four bonus children McKenzie Fronterhouse of Amarillo, Zachary Fronterhouse of Durant, OK, Kaylee Chavez of Amarillo and Dylan Fronterhouse of Minot, ND, his five bonus grandchildren Ensleigh, Elliett, Greyson, Kodie and Eastlyn. He is also survived by his nieces Lillie, Audrie and Maycie Blackwell.
