Bill Burgin, 74, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Enid, OK.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Burgin was born on March 2, 1936 in Antlers, OK and had lived in Pond Creek, OK for thirteen and onehalf years, moving there from Borger. He was an operator for Agrium. He married Peggy Ledbetter on February 7, 1985 in Borger. He loved to play the guitar and traveled the western swing circuit. He was lead singer of his band and he created and worked on guitars.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria German Burgin in 1984, two brothers Lavorn Roy Burgin and two sisters Charlotte Holland and Norma Jean Lowe, and his parents Hobert Lona Burgin.

Bill is survived by his wife Peggy Burgin of the home, two sons Lee Burgin of Ft. Worth, Gary Burgin of Fritch, two daughters Patty Massey of New Hampshire, Margie OReilly of Hendersonville, TN, stepson Steven Butler of Edmond, OK, stepdaughter Victoria Vardaman of Hobbs, NM, two brothers Troy Burgin of Katy, TX, Glenn Burgin of Mineola, TX, thirteen grandchildren and seventeen greatgrandchildren.

The family will be staying at 413 Coronado in Fritch.
