Billy Culwell

Billy Ray Culwell, 84, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014.

Graveside service will be held 2 pm Monday, November 3, 2014 in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ray was born October 24, 1930 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Arthur Perry and Addie Mae Culwell. He was a retired pipefitter for the local 196. Ray had a passion for his mules and horses and enjoyed pulling his covered wagon.

He is preceded in death by his parents first wife, June Culwell and sons, Larry and Tommy Culwell and second wife, Florene Shores.

Survivors include son, Billy Culwell and wife, Phyllis of Borger daughter, Debbie Brewer and husband Tim of Yukon, Oklahoma one grandson four granddaughters a special stepgranddaughter, Christine Wolfe five great grandchildren with one due to arrive in June five step children numerous step grandchildren and a host of extended family.
