Billy Don Culwell

Billy Don Culwell, 71 of Borger passed away Saturday morning, July 27, 2024, at home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Minton Memorial Chapel. The burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Billy was born June 10, 1953, in Wood River, IL to Billy Ray and Beverly (Murphy) Culwell. He retired as a welding inspector in 2013. He was a longtime resident of Borger. He married Phyllis Jones on September 16, 1994, in Borger. He loved visiting with friends, watching game shows, football, and baseball. His favorite teams were the Astros and the Texans.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his daughter Nacole.

Surviving is his wife, Phyllis, his daughter Kara Tice and her husband Kory of White Deer, TX, his sister Debbie Brewer and her husband Tim of Yukon, OK his Grandchildren Brailey Walesiak, Breklyn Tice, Joe Scruggs, and Brantley Culwell. Four Stepchildren. Five step grandchildren. Six step great grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews.
