Billy Joe Kossey, 71, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bruce Ridling, pastor of Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRMr. Kossey was born on August 15, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas to L.L. and Lorene Kossey. He was a former resident of Borger and had lived in Duncanville and then Waxahachie. He was a welder, member of Riverview Baptist Church and the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Eugene Kossey and sister-in-law, Alice Kossey.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Crystal of the home, three sons - Steven Kossey and wife Patricia of Fritch, Dean Craig and wife pam of Midlothian, David Craig and wife Wendy of Lancaster, three daughters - Kim Durbin of Stinnett, Karen Schneider and husband Justin of Fritch, Dalynda DeLeon and husband Joe of Waxahachie; a brother - Jerry Lynn Kossey of Dallas, two sisters - Virginia Carlisle and husband Mickey of Borger, Martha Ann Allen of Fritch, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.BRBRThe family will be staying at 150 Farmer Lane in Antelope Creek.BR
