Valley Center, KansasBRBRBilly Don Lawyer, 80, died Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Valley Center, Kansas.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael Arndt, retired pastor officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens in Pampa.

BRMr. Lawyer was born on July 18, 1928 in Holdenville, OK and was a former resident of Borger. He was in maintenance at Agrium and was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a great carpenter and liked to build things, tinker, and yardwork. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lillie Lawyer, his wife Ledgel, several brothers and one sister.BRBRHis survivors include one son - Don Lawyer and wife Tere of Athens, TX., three daughters - Donna Smith and Jane Tullos both of Borger, Sheri Coleman and husband Kenneth of Amarillo, brother - Albert Lawyer and wife Marie of Wichita, KS, sister - Kathryn Abbott of Guymon, OK, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.BRBRCasket bearers will be Brock Tullos, Cody Coleman, Dale Lawyer, Ryan Barbour, Wade Lawyer, Russell Lawyer, Chad Lawyer and Tony Ivey.
