Billy Mccormick

Billy Jason McCormick, 26, died Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Borger.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Service with Rev. A. J. Griffin and Andy Gregg officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors.

Billy was born on October 15, 1984 in Lubbock and had been a Borger resident for five years moving here from Grapevine, Texas. He was raised by his mema Mildred Thornton and his uncle and aunt Larry Wanell Gregg. He was an electrician for KelTex. He married Michelle Adams on February 14, 2008 in Stinnett. He loved to hunt, cook and fish and he loved to help people, cut Michelles hair and paint nails. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Sheila McCormick, his grandmother Mildred Thornton in 2008, his Uncle Tommy Thornton in 2004.

Billy is survived by his wife Michelle of the home, two daughters Mackenzie Thompson and McKayla Thompson both of the home, stepfather Troy Steinbock and wife Judy, two brothers Tommy Boothe and wife Tabitha of Lubbock, Andy Gregg and wife Emily of Beaumont, TX, seven sisters Andrea Gregg, Kristen Steinbock, Courtney Steinbock, Jennifer Steinbock, Amy Treadway, Alisson Treadway, Rebecca Treadway and his Uncle Larry Aunt Wanell Gregg of Flower Mound, TX.
