Bob Dial

Bob Dial, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Borger.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Church of Christ at Borger. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Bob was born October 8, 1920 in Miami, Texas to C.L. and Lelia Dial. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger, the VFW, American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. Bob was a great man, loving father and the last of the real cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Pat Rhodes Dial brothers, Dallas, Bill and Gus Dial sister, Mary Dial McCrary.

Survivors include sons, Robert Lynn Dial, II and his wife, Doreen of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Dallas Dial and his wife, Gayle of Ferris, Texas, J.J. Dial and his wife, Cathy of Canadian daughter, Cathy Dial of Borger 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
