Bob Fleenor, 71, of Fritch, died Sunday July 10, 2016 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Hansford Cemetery in Spearman with Mr. Richard Kasko of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the funeral home in Borger. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Robert "Bob" Lee Fleenor was born September 16, 1944 in Borger, Texas to W.R. and Sylvia (Harmond) Fleenor. He was a resident of Fritch, but lived most of his life in Sunray. Bob was a carpenter, master electrician, and attended the Fritch Church of Christ. He was a family man. Bob married Nancy Adams on January 24, 1987 in Las Vegas, NV. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was in the Vietnam War. Bob earned the Vietnam service medal, two bronze stars, national service medal , and the Republic of Vietnam campaign medal. He also earned his Bachelor's degree in industrial technology at West Texas State University.
Survivors include his wife Nancy of the home, his sister Lyndall Harvey of Fritch, his niece JonAnn Welch of Inez, TX, his nephew Robert Wade Harvey of Fritch, two great nieces, Jonna Pilapil and husband Patrick of Fritch, Brit Petit and husband Walter of Victoria, and many great-great nephews and nieces.
