Bob Londagin

Bob Londagin, 90 of Paris, Texas, passed away March 10, 2017. He was a former resident of Borger for 50 years before moving to Paris. He was born January 23, 1927 in Hickory, Oklahoma to Bert and Rena Londagin.

He graduated from high school in Crooked Oak High in Oklahoma City. He joined the United States Marine Corps at the end of WW II and was called back to active duty for the Korean Conflict. After his military service he went to work for Phillips Petroleum Co. working at Philtex in Borger before being transferred to Bartlesville, Oklahoma in the R&D department. He ended his career with Phillips back in Borger at the Copolymer plant.

He enjoyed time with family, fishing and traveling.

He was a 32nd degree mason and past Grand Master of Unity Lodge in Borger.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Maxine; a son, Phil Londagin; a sister, Jean Welch; and his parents.

He is survived by a son, Rickey and wife Rene Ann of Paris; three grandsons, Bobby of Austin, Texas, Michael and wife Ferrian of Pampa, and Devin of Borger; four great-grandsons, in-laws from Oklahoma City and their families and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
