Bobby Chaffin

Bobby Ray Chaffin, 64, of Amarillo died Tuesday, April 21.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday at the First Baptist Church of Sanford with Rev. Larry Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Bobby was born on April 1, 1951 in Pampa, Texas to Buster and Lillie Simpson Chaffin. He was an operator at Co-Polymer and Phillips Refinery for 35 years. Bobby married Adriana Garcia on August 19, 1973 in Temple, Texas. He loved coaching youth sports, which included soccer, baseball, and football.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Survivors are his wife Adriana of the home; sons, Bradford Chaffin and wife, Elizabeth of Sealy, Texas, Bryan Chaffin and wife, Cassie of Amarillo, and Brandon Chaffin and wife, Kayli of Fritch; brother, Billy Jack Chaffin and wife, Janet of Pearland, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends and family at a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday night at the funeral home in Fritch.
