Bobby Christian

Bobby Christian, 61, of Borger went home to be with the "Good Lord" on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 peacefully in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Faith Covenant Church Catalyst Building with Pastor Les Sharp officiating, and Pastor Victor Rodriguez of the Liberty Worship Church assisting. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday evening at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Bobby Christian was born January 31, 1956 in Pampa to Francis Ray and Geraldean (Darby) Christian. He moved to Borger 45 years ago from Pampa, and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Bobby married Rhonda Mitchell Christian on September 6, 1974 in Borger. He loved going to church, hunting, guns, and spending time with his wife and girls. Bobby was a general foreman for a rigging and operating group at Zachery Inc., and he also did lots of volunteer work on repairing homes through the United Way through Zachery.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda; two daughters Shannon Christian, Kelli Harris and husband Shane, both of Borger; one brother David Christian and wife Teresa of Fritch; two sisters Linda Vick of Pampa, Theresa Christian of White Deer; two granddaughters Lexi and Macey Harris, both of Borger.
