Bobby Dotson

Bobby Lyle Dotson, 92, died March 26, 2017 in Borger. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Lowell Clark officiating. Military Graveside rites will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Bob was born October 30, 1924 in Keifer, OK to George and Ruby Lou Arnold Dotson. He was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene and has lived in Borger since 1957. He married Dorothy Armitage August 25, 1945 in Bristow, OK. Bobby proudly served his country in WW II in the Army as a corporal; he was stationed in Central Europe. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart. Bobby loved to bowl on Tuesday nights with the Huber Bowling League.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Tommy Dotson.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years Dorothy, his son Mike Dotson and his wife Jodena of Fritch, his daughter Sharon Stevens and her husband Art of Fritch, his sister Lorraine Kerley of Bristow, OK, 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be Travis Stevens, Josh Stevens, Kasey Stevens, Jeremy Stevens, Jerid Stevens, Justin Stevens, Drake Nivens and Jathan Nivens.
