Bobby Don Pennington (known as Donny), 56, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 2, 2018 at Minton Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger
He was a very passionate and intelligent man. In his younger years, carpentry was his occupation. He was skilled in his trade and was a very hard working and determined individual with great work ethic. He enjoyed literature and studying scripture. He was an extraordinary writer, could talk for hours about the word of God, and enjoyed studying other religions. He was very educated and had a broad view of religion, yet he chose Jesus. He was a Christian and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed keeping up with his family and grandchildren, and placed value on love, honor, and respect. Donny strived to be a good person and made you know how much he loved you. He had the ability to make you laugh and smile; in turn, his laugh could be heard a mile away and his smile would brighten any room. He is now at peace and no longer in pain. He will never be forgotten.
