Bobbye Eloyce Harper, 83, of Amarillo died Sunday, November 3, in Amarillo. Services will be private.
Bobbye was born in Whittenburg, Texas to G.D. Red and Catherine Davis on December 13, 1929. She married Robert Lee Harper on June 4, 1949 in Borger. She lived in Borger for 20 years, then moved to Amarillo where she was owner and writer for Ad Beat Newspaper and a Teacher Assistant for Amarillo Independent School District. Bobbye loved gardening and reading Louie LMour books. She had a love for life, God, flowers, family and friends. Bobbye also loved to write in her journal.
Bobbye was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee, and three sons, Larry, David, and Doug Harper.
Survivors are her sons, Dwight Harper and Brad Harper and wife Cheryl of Amarillo Grandchildren, April, Melanie, Steven, Loren, Michael, Jeff and Greatgrandchildren, Aiden, Finley, Ruby, And Sophia.
The family would like to invite everyone to a reception at 6405 W. Chenot, in Amarillo, Saturday evening.
