Bonita Jean Chadwick, 61, went to be with her Heavenly Father May 30, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Her Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo in the West Auditorium. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Bonita was born February 1, 1957 in Dimmitt, TX to Wayne Wilcox and Betty McGaughey Wilcox. She has lived in the Panhandle area for the past 23 years and was an administrative assistant for Bridgeport Strategies. Her greatest passion was to serve her Lord and her church where she was on the prophetic team. She loved her family and loved to fish, camp, her horses and cattle and to travel. Bonita worked on many Walk to Emmaus weekends. She always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers; Marlin and Kenneth Wilcox.
Bonita is survived by her husband of twenty years David, her mother Betty Wilcox of Amarillo, her two sons Jeremy Busby and his wife Karissa of Graford, TX and Gary Matt and his wife Jennifer of Canyon, her two daughters Brandi Lindt and her husband James of Carbondale, CO and Tiffany Hernandez and her husband Daniel of Borger, her brother Dennis Wilcox of Freeport, TX, her ten grandchildren Hudson, Owen, Ansley, Evan, Hayden, Braycen, Tatum, Calvin, Raelyn and Laken and her parents by marriage Phyllis and Dale Busby of Fritch.
