Bradley Roberts

Bradley “Brad“ Paul Roberts, 60 of Panhandle went to be with his Lord and savior on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Amarillo. Rosary will be read 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday, January 28, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. Masks are required for services for Covid 19 protocol.

Brad was born April 21, 1960 in Amarillo to Bobby Obrien and Roberta Mae “Longanacre” Roberts. He was a graduate from Panhandle, TX. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church where he volunteered as an usher and watered and mowed the grounds. He was a member of Knight of Columbus working many fish fries. He was great mechanic and could fix anything, overhauling engines. He had a knack for numbers and could be relied on to recall everything from part numbers to phone numbers.

He took pride in cooking the beef for the St. Theresa’s and Square House Museum’s BBQ and loved working the sausage dinner Sacred Heart in White Deer. He had a heart of gold and would help out a friend before helping his self. He loved visiting with his friends and the history of the people of Panhandle. Enjoyed fishing, trips to Colorado and Wendover, NV.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving is his brother Brien and wife Heather Roberts of Amarillo. Nieces Becky Christy and husband Marvin of Temple, TX; Jennifer Renee Roberts of Arlington, TX; Erica Storm McGee of Canyon, TX and Hope Shelayne Cooksey of Amarillo. Great nephews Jonathan Lee Christy of Temple, TX and Ryfle Nelson Garmin of Canyon, TX. Great nieces Aspyn Reign Cooksey of Amarillo, TX and Gracie Cooksey of Amarillo, TX.
