Brenda Gardner

Brenda Joy Gardner, 57 of Borger died Monday December 17 at Borger. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday December 21st at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jeff Hutchinson, pastor Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral of Borger.

Brenda was born November 2, 1955 at Amarillo, Texas to Johnny Nowell and Patsy Simpson. She worked for the City of Borger as a meter reader for twenty years. She was lifetime resident of Borger. Loved to fish, sew, knitting, cooking and being with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Douglas Patrick Long and grandfather James Akins.

She is survived by grandmother Dorothy Akins of Borger. Daughter Brandy Killingsworth and husband Jason of Borger. Son Jason Gardner of Borger. Sisters Zonia Rosenthal of Alabama and Regina Reynolds of Borger. Brothers Johnny Lynn Nowell and wife Sharon of Borger, Ret. Lt. Col. Clifton Johnston and wife Vicki of Washington DC, Johnny B. Nowell of Wisconsin and Carl Nowell of Illinois. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Significate other Rodger Gardner of Borger.
