Brenda Denise Goswick

Brenda Denise Goswick, 63, of Borger passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Riverview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the funeral home.

Denise was born September 23, 1959, in Borger to Aubrey Eugene and Beatrice Faye (Roden) Phelps. She married Richard Goswick March 26, 1976, in Borger. She worked at Heritage Hospital, in the cafeteria at Stinnett School, and was a secretary at the Water Store. She loved gardening and cooking for people. Everyone loved her dressing and Thumb Plum Cake.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Aubrey and Bea Phelps; husband, Richard; granddaughter, Kayla; grandparents, Guy and Vera Roden, and Buck and Opal Phelps.

Surviving are her son, Mark Goswick and wife Krista of Borger; daughter, Mandy Tate of Borger; uncle, Travis Roden and wife Linda; grandchildren, Ashley McClure, Noah Goswick, Kinlee Goswick and Shaley Tate.
