Brenda Harrison

Brenda Harrison, 64, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Borger.

Brenda was born October 27, 1953 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Claude Milton Hooks, Sr. and Mary True Hooks. She married James Leroy Harrison, Sr. on August 29, 1975 in Borger. Brenda enjoyed drawing, bowling and sewing for her family. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Hooks, Sr. and Mary Hooks; her husband, James Harrison, Sr.; brothers, Claude Hooks, Jr. and John Hooks.

Survivors include her son, James Leroy Harrison, Jr. of Borger; daughters, Heather Hodges and husband Jesse of Borger and Mary Hodges and husband Josh of Borger; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Hedgecoke of Waxahachie, Barbara Mongold of Waxahachie, Susan Ramsey and husband Bill of Borger, Sharon Lawrence of Borger, LaDona Kitchen and husband Doug of Borger; and brother, Don Hooks and wife Linda of Stinnett.
