Brett Smith

Brett Douglas Smith, 52, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014.

Funeral service will be 11 am Monday, November 3, 2014 at First United Methodist Church under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Brett was born April 13, 1962 in Borger to William and LaNell Smith. He was an extremely hard worker in all he did. Brett received his BSME from Texas Tech University in 1984 and his MSEE from Texas Tech University in 1989. He enjoyed basketball, fishing, hunting and astronomy.

He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Smith.

Survivors include his mother, LaNell Smith of Borger brother, Mark Smith and wife Erma of Denver, Colorado sister, Lynne Wyatt and husband Joe of Borger nieces, Anna and Rebecca Wyatt nephews, Derek Wyatt and wife Aimee, Caleb Wyatt, Luke Wyatt and great nieces, Juliette and Aria Wyatt.
