Brian Gregory Hanrahan, 59, of Borger, passed away suddenly at hospital in Amarillo Thursday, January 10, 2013 after a brief illness.

Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Brian was born May 7, 1953 in Halifax, N.S., Canada to the late John and Hazel LaPierre Hanrahan. He owned and operated Campbells Bookbinding Ltd. for several years before settling in Borger, Texas where he was employed as a security officer with Guardsmark Security. While in Borger, he met and married his one true love, Sherry August 4, 1998. They had 13 happy years together.

Survivors include a brother Ronald Hanrahan and wife Vida of Lantz, Nova Scotia, a sister Doreen Hanrahan and husband Gerald of Halifax, Nova Scotia, sisterinlaw, Helen Sibley of Borger, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his wife Sherry January 6, 2012, and his parents.
