Bruce Brian Baker

Bruce Brian Baker, 51, of Fritch, passed away in Amarillo on October 16, 2023. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Celebration Family Church in Fritch. There will be a visitation of family and friends at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bruce was born October 26, 1971, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Ron and Carol (Wakeman) Baker. He married Brandy West on November 6, 1999, in Hutchinson County. He loved hunting, motorcycles, family gatherings, and especially hosting a July 4 show for family and friends for ten years. He loved supporting the Wounded Warriors. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family. He worked for Tokai Carbon Black as an electrician.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Lee and Giles Turner, and Donnie and Bruce Whaley.

Surviving are his parents, Ron and Carol Baker; wife, Brandy of the home; daughters, Britney Rider and husband Brince of Canyon, Texas, Briann Baker of the home; brother, Shawn Baker and wife Lori of Austin, Texas; sisters, Suzanne Cotton and husband Chuck of Goodrich, Texas, Sherri Leewright and husband Kelly of Tennessee; and one grandchild on the way.
