Byron Johnson

Byron Keith Johnson, 74 of Borger died Sunday December 7th in Borger. Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm Thursday December 11th in Minton memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Hall of Grace Church officiating.

Byron was born September 30,1940 in South Gate, California to Howard and Winnie Walsh Johnson. He was a mud engineer in the oil and gas industry. He married Faye Mathes July 1, 1963 at Clayton, NM. He loved to hunt, hunt arrow heads, history, politics, restoring cars and golf. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He served in the US Army.

Byron is survived by his wife of 51 years Faye, his daughters Joan Minton and husband James of Austin, Amy Molina and husband Ramon of San Antonio. Brothers Don Johnson and wife Virginia of Elkhart, KS and Bob Johnson and wife Ramona of Elkhart, KS. Four Grandchildren Meredith, Aaron Leah and Anna.
