C. Pace

C. C. Red Pace, 88 of Fritch died Wednesday December 18, 2013 in Borger. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 23rd at Minton Memorial Chapel with Merrell Bibby of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Red was born April 20,1925 in Lindale, Texas to Leslie and Aline Bishop Pace. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a truck driver for Graves Trucking in Dumas for 31 years. He married Clotene Bibby April 19, 1947 at Grand Saline, Texas. He loved to play Bingo and Fish. He was a member of the Dumas Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife in October 2013, daughters Judy Kay Bridgeman and Nancy Jean DeSheilds and a son Gary Mike Pace.

He is survived by a brother Leroy Pace of Lindale, TX. Grandchildren Kelly and Chancy Franks of Stinnett, Tx, Stacy Turner of Lubbock, Jeremy Martin of Fredricksburg, TX, Amber Bridgeman and Jamie Martin both of Burnett, TX. Eleven great grandchildren.
