Calvin C. Ausbrooks, 66, died Tuesday, July 18th, 2006 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bunavista Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Courtney, officiating and Rev. Robert Hensley, Pastor assisting. Interment will be in The Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Ausbrooks was born on July 10, 1940 in Shidler, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Borger for 64 years. He retired as an equipment operator from Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a 1958 graduate of Borger High School. Calvin married Anita Stowers on September 2, 1960 in Borger. He was a member of Hutchinson County Sheriff's Posse for 35 years. He enjoyed raising horses, roping and camping.BRBRHis survivors include his wife - Anita of the home, son - Kevin Ausbrooks of Borger, brother - Carl Ausbrooks of Amarillo, TX, sister - Erma Blankenship of Stinnett, TX and one very special granddaughter - Shalea Ann Ausbrooks of Borger.BRBRCasket bearers will be Jim Sargent, Harold McPherson, Rick Wood, Leon Russell, Don Delfay, and Dennis Phelan.
