Calvin Babitzke

Calvin James Babitzke, 63, of Borger passed away Sunday Sept. 5th at his home in Borger.

Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday at Cornerstone Church with Shian Klassen, Pastor officiating. Graveside services will be 4pm Thursday, at Hansford cemetery in Spearman.

Calvin was born Sept. 13, 1946 at Canadian, Tx. to Henry and Christina Babitzke. He served in Law Enforcement for many years. Worked for Lipscomb County 25 years, 16 as Sheriff. He later worked for Hutchinson County. He married Geneva Longley June 9, 1967 at Spearman, Tx. Calvin was a member of Cornerstone Church in Borger where he was head usher.

Calvin is survived by his wife Geneva of Borger, mother Christina Babitzke of Canadian, a special son Jason Pudwell of Dallas, a brother Buford Babitzke and wife Karen of Spearman, a sister Eline Burch and husband Don of Canadian, Brother in laws Darrel Longley and wife Vera of Elizabeth, CO., Clifton Longley and wife Twila of Vici, OK. 4 nieces,7 nephews, and a host of friends.
