Loving mother, Captolia Marie Tollison Lynch, passed away and joined Jesus in heaven on April 7, 2022 in Schulenburg, Texas. She was 83 years old.
Captolia was born to Paul Ernest and Julia Lavada Boles Tollison on December 21, 1938 in Pampa, Texas. She was the youngest of the family which included her brothers Paul Ernest and Robert E Lee which proceeded her in death. She attended the Borger and Pampa Schools. She married Billy Joe Lynch on August 15, 1953 in Pampa, Texas. They were married 58 years before her husband’s death. She graduated from West Texas A & M University in 1990 with a degree in education. She worked for the White Deer ISD, Pampa ISD and St. Vincent Catholic Elementary School. She worked for Marie Foundations in Pampa where she made many good friends. She also worked for Coronado Nursing Home and Texas Department of Human Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Skellytown where she participated in many activities and taught her love for the Lord to children and adults. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed time with all her extended family. She was often requested to cook fried chicken, tacos, and chicken fried steak for family and friends. She was an avid seamstress, reader, gardener, and lover of music. Her favorite statement to people was she was blessed by the Lord and so thankful. Now that Captolia has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Captolia’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.
Captolia is proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Julia Tollison. Billy Joe Lynch, husband, Paul Tollision, brother, Robert Tollison, brother, and Johnny Tollison, brother. She is survived by many loving family members, including Kathy Hilliard, daughter, of Schulenburg,Texas; Larry and Sarah Anson, son-in-law and daughter, of Rolla, Missouri; Billy and Miriam Lynch, son and daughter-in-law of Perryton, Texas; Jesse Tollison, brother of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Lewis Tollison, brother of Skellytown, Texas; Rachel Wilson, granddaughter, Schulenburg, Texas; Heather Ennis, granddaughter, of San Leon, Texas; Adam and Lauryn Anson, grandson, of Springfield, Missouri; Julia and Chris Hudler, granddaughter, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Laura Anson, granddaughter, of Springfield, Missouri; Jessica and Warren Yeatman, granddaughter, of Perryton, Texas; Nathanial and Sara Lynch, grandson, of Denver, Colorado; great-grandchildren Shawn Wilson , Jacob Wilson, Caleb Cisneros, Dixie Ennis, Lane Powell, Ezri Hoxie, Anika Anson, Paige Hudler, Roland Hudler, Raegan Yeatman, Ryleigh Yeatman, Josiah Yeatman, Wyatt Yeatman, and Ana Lynch. She is also survived by many Her funeral will be cousins, nieces, and nephews that she dearly loved.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church 306 Roosevelt Street Skellytown, Texas on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Her burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas 1560 N. Duncan Street. There will be a family and friends visitation on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the funeral home Since this is a celebration of her life and new life with Christ, we ask you to honor her with bright colors at the funeral or if you can’t attend to wear this on that day.
