BRCarl Calvin Green, Sr., 83, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 in Stephenville, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Green was born on October 30, 1925 in Morgan Mill, TX and had lived in Morgan Mill, TX for two years. He moved to Borger in 1949 and worked for his brother, J.B. Green in his plumbing business. He married Ernestine Rasco on December 3, 1956 in Tucumcari, NM. He loved to watch football. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry during WW II as a PFC.BRBRHe was preceded in death by his parents - John Lorena Green, wife, Ernestine and four brothers and four sisters. BRBRHe is survived by his wife - Pauletta Green of the home, and one son - Carl Green, Jr. and wife Dina of Ft. Worth, TX.BR
