Carl E. Ketchum, 83, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Borger.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Conway Community Church in Panhandle. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Ketchum was born on September 3, 1927 in Conway, TX and had lived in Borger since 2000. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a farmer for 20 years and a carpenter for 30 years. He married Tressie Lou Barker in Amarillo. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, woodworking, camping, gardening, loved the mountains and loved to sing. He was preceded in death by his parents Floy Willie Sue Ketchum, two sisters LaVern Driskell and LeNova Nunley and brother Don Ketchum.
He is survived by his wife Tressie Ketchum of the home, son Clyde Ketchum and wife Adelia of Pagosa Springs, CO, two daughters Carla McGee and Antha Martin and husband Dennis all of Borger, sister Nita Ramming of White Deer, TX, eight grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren.
