Carl W Morgan, 85 of Borger went to be with his Lord and savior on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Borger surrounded by family. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, TX.

Carl was born in Borger, TX  to Carl Truman and Thelma (Owens) Morgan. He grew up in Clarendon, TX where he helped on the farm. He proudly served in the US Army. Graduated from Wayland Baptist University receiving his bachelor’s degree. Carl married Cindy Backus April 29, 1988, in Borger. They started a church in their home called House of Prayer Fellowship where he was an elder and she is pastor. He was a Boy Scout leader, avid outdoorsman, lifetime member of NRA and Pioneer Gun Collectors Association. He was welding instructor for Phillips and later was supervisor for welders and heavy equipment operators.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother James Morgan.

Surviving is his loving wife Cindy and son Carl Jonathan Morgan of the home. Carla Leavelle and husband Greg; Darla Lemon and husband Todd; Tonya Evans and husband Cullie; Shane Winters and wife Rhonda; Kristi Westberg and husband Shawen; Ben Winters and wife Donya; Courtney Reedy and husband Steven and Jonathan Morgan. Brothers Earl Morgan and wife Lorraine; Bobby Morgan and wife Donna and Mike Morgan. Seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren
