Carma Sue Smith, 71, died Friday February 8, 2008 at home in Borger, Texas.BRBRMemorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Carma was born on October 8, 1936 in Clebert, Ok to Euwin and Cora Bell Herin. She married Montie Smith and was a devoted housewife to him and their six children. She was a lifelong resident of the Borger and Fritch areas. Carma's passions were yardwork and loving her grandbabies. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers and sisters and 2 grandbabies. Survivors include 3 sons - Ricky Smith and Robert Reilly both of Borger and Darwin Ashford of Caddogap, Ark; 3 daughters - Tammy Mercer and husband Steve and Pam Garcia and husband Eugene all of Borger and Rosa Duquette of Fritch; 2 brothers - Kenneth Herin of Fritch and Jerry Herin of Spearman; a sister - Linda Herin of Arkansas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
