Caroline Ware

Caroline Margaret Ware, 83, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Per her wishes her obituary is being published after her funeral services. Services were be held privately and burial was in Stinnett Cemetery. 

Caroline was born June 28, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan to Carroll E. Fike and Esther K Gocha Fike. She was a member of Cornerstone Church. Caroline enjoyed knitting, fishing (mainly for catfish), and teaching Kansas and Parlaee to cook. She was a football fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys. Let’s be honest her favorite thing to do, was to take Colby’s money during football season. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Esther Fike; husband, Tommy Ray Ware; son, Timothy Ashton; daughters, Anna Grant, Loretta Mayberry, Dedra Ware; brother, Robert Fike; and sister, Anna Fike. 

Survivors include her son, Robert Ashton of Stinnett; daughter, Beatrice “BB” Gamble of Amarillo; grandchildren, Sarah Ware and Colby Johnson, Georgianna Martin, D.J. Martin, Michael Mayberry, Rosie Perez, Robert Earls, Alex Gamble, Evan Gamble, Lily Gamble, Jenna Betzen; great grandchildren, Kansas, Paralee, River, Jordan, Braylee, Brody, Gage, Jace, Eloise, Thatcher, Eli Jacob; numerous great-great grandchildren; brother, Leslie O. Fike and wife Debra of Eufala, Oklahoma; sister, Beatrice Volrath of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
