Carolyn Grace Ruches

Carolyn Grace Ruches, 85, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the funeral home in Fritch. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Carolyn was born April 22, 1939, in Canadian, Texas to William Reid and Beatrice May Reid. She married Richard Ruches on April 16, 1965, in Borger. She loved to travel, especially to the mountains in Colorado. Carolyn enjoyed reading, working jigsaw puzzles, watching old westerns and her soap operas. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bea Reid; and husband, Richard Ruches.

Survivors include her son, David Ruches of Fritch; brother, Kenneth Reid of Garland; sisters, Helen Spahich of Borger, Linda Wadley of Dallas; her beloved cat, Rosie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
