Cecilio Rios

Cecilio Rios, 78, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Minton Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the funeral home.

Cecilio was born December 11, 1942 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Rios and Louisa Urvina Rios.  He married Yolanda Martha Munoz on September 20, 1959 in Mexico.  Cecilio enjoyed worshipping the Lord through praise and worship, listening to gospel music, and loving on his dogs.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than being with his family especially visiting with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Sonia, Rosaisela; and great granddaughters, Alondra, Violet and Ariela.

Survivors include his wife, Martha of Borger; sons, Ricardo Rios of Mexico, Mario Rios of Borger, Raymond Rios and wife Gabina of Borger, Manuel Rios and wife Sylvia of Crowley, Hector Rios and wife Brenda of Borger; daughters, Cecilia Munoz and husband Leno of Borger, Noemi Webb and husband Robert of North Carolina, Ruth Gonzales and husband Jesus of Borger, Cindy Rios of Borger, Judy Holguin and husband Raul of Borger, Patricia Rios of Borger, Ellie Rios of Borger; 47 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; brother, Manual Rios of Mexico; sisters, Alicia Chavez and husband Lorenzo of El Paso, Catalina Barraza and husband Salvador of Mexico; and a host of extended family.
