C.H. Nelson

C.H. Nelson, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Amarillo.

Funeral service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Fritch Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

C.H. was born November 25, 1924 in Bangs, Texas to John and Minnie Nelson. He married Nellie Snow October 27, 1947 in Bowie, Texas. He retired after 38 years from Philblack Plant.

He is preceded in death by his parents sister, Esther Phifer and brother, Melvin Nelson.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Nellie two sons, David Nelson, Charles Nelson and his wife, Brenda all of Fritch daughter, Jan White and husband, Randy of Humble two brothers, Bill Nelson of Fritch, Dennis Nelson of Stinnett 12 grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Jessica, Autumn, Jessica, Shawna, Jason, Rob, Vickie, Tammy, Jenny, Becky 17 great grandchildren, Devyn, Judsyn, Kennedy, Anna, Luke, Brice, Sierra, Abel, Krista, Ross, Ariel, Katelyn, James, Jordan, Cheyenne, Ashley, Derrick and a host of extended family.
