Charles Chancellor, Sr.

Charles Wayne Chancellor, Sr., 63, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm on  Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Double Diamond Clubhouse in Fritch.

Charles was born April 26, 1958 in Midland, Texas.  He worked as a roughneck in the oilfield.  Charles proudly served in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed fishing, going junkin’, playing games on his phone and tinkering with cars.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his kids and grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Goldie Wainwright Chancellor and William Chancellor; son, David Chancellor; daughter, Connie McKinnis; sisters, Sharon Followill, Mary Beck; and brother, Billy Beck.

Survivors include his wife, Martha McKinnis of Fritch; sons, Charles Chancellor, Jr. and wife LaDona of Borger, Jason Chancellor, Brendan McKinnis and wife Vanessa of Fritch, James McKinnis of Borger, Adam McKinnis and wife Jodie of Borger; daughters, Patricia McKeen and husband Roy of Atoka, Oklahoma, Alicia Massey of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Linda Simpson of Borger, Corrie West of Fritch; daughter-in-law, Angie Chancellor of Fort Worth; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Beck and wife Tanya of Tulia, Newman Chancellor and wife Debbie of Amarillo, Richard Beck and wife Phyllis of Borger; and a host of extended family.
