It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Hough, father, grandfather, and brother. Charles, born on April 23, 1963, in Borger, Texas, was the beloved son of Don and Juanita Hough. Surrounded by family, he peacefully departed this world on January 9, 2024.
Charles was a cherished brother to Dewayne, Donnita, and James Deryl, as well as a loving son to Juanita Hough. Charles was not only a brother but also a steadfast friend, offering unwavering support throughout the years.
His greatest source of pride and joy were his four sons. Charles was a loving and dedicated father to Chantz, Andrew, Dakota, and William. He poured his heart into shaping their lives and was a beacon of strength and wisdom for each of them.
Charles reveled in the joys of grandparenthood, finding immense happiness in the presence of his grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through his grandkids: Caylee, Katelyn, Junior, Joseph, Emily, Keagan, McKeeLee, Aspen, Colt, and Finley. The memories created with them will forever be cherished, and the values he instilled will be carried forward through the generations.
Beyond his role as a family man, Charles was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and genuine kindness. He was a beacon of selflessness, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. His compassionate nature knew no bounds, and he would gladly give the shirt off his back to support a friend or stranger facing a challenge.
A celebration of Charles Hough's life will take place on January 15th at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home in Borger, Texas at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Baylor Scott & White Hospital (https://dallasfoundation.bswhealth.com/) in Charles's memory.
Though our hearts ache with the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, we find solace in the beautiful memories and enduring love he shared with us. May Charles rest in eternal peace and may his legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us all.
