Charles Eric Lambert, 70 died on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
Mr. Lambert will lie in state beginning Sunday from noon to 8 pm and Monday from 8 am to 8 pm.
Charlie was born Cinco de Mayo, 1949 in Borger to John and Margaret Free Lambert. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force stationed at Homestead Air Force Base in Everglades, Florida and was a member of the US Army Honor Guard. He worked at Co-Poly and Huber and later became a self-employed carpenter. He was a lover of music especially Pink Floyd and Stevie Ray Vaughan. One of the most outgoing men you would ever have the honor to meet. Charlie could bring a smile to anyone, even on their darkest days. His most memorable traits were that he was kind, forgiving, honest and all around pure. He was God’s gift to us, and to any and every one he met. He loved his wife and family with everything he had and more.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Polly Ames Lambert; sons, Shane Mitchell of Amarillo and Ian Eric Keltchner of Coco Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley Sosebee, Kimberley Mitchell, Quinn, Decklan, Brody and Reagan Keltchner; sisters, Linda Walker, Helen Hamond and husband John, Janice Denning, and Barbara Anne Ames.
