Charles Nichols

Charles Wayne "Chuck" Nichols, 73, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Fairlanes Baptist Church. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at New Ramah Cemetery in Ashland, LA under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Masonic Rites will be recited by Unity Masonic Lodge at the church.

A band of heavenly angels ushered Chuck into heaven.  I can see Chuck and Larry Don catching up and waiting for the stripers to hit top water , Chuck was bigger than life in every way and loved the mountains and  our life together.

Chuck loved and was loved by many! To God be the glory for sharing Chuck in our lives in so many special ways!! Chuck always told me, I am as happy as a frog hair split in 4 ways, now that is happy and then that wonderful smile would Cover his face!

Nancy

Chuck was born July 19, 1947 in Pampa to Albert Wayne Nichols, Sr. and Dolly Mae Swarthout Nichols. He married Nancy Winslett June 19, 1997 and had worked as a Night Supervisor at Phillips 66 NGL department. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger and loved to fish, known as Captain Chubba and loved to spend time at the cabin in Eagle Nest.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Debbie Rozzell.

Chuck is survived by his wife Nancy, his daughter Stephanie Moore and her husband Bobby of Fritch, his brother Albert Nichols and his wife Barbara of Pampa and seven grandchildren.

The family invites friends to a visitation from 5;00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association.
