Charles Nutter

Charels E. Chuck Pop Nutter, 89, of Stinnett died July 21, 2007 at Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 24th at First Baptist Church in Stinnett, Texas with Rev. Johnny Bernstien, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Charles was born March 1, 1918 at Sedan, Kansas. He served in the US Air Force during WW II. He married Dollieta Imogene Ray Aug. 15, 1953 in Pampa, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1993. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Dollietta in 1958 and a great-granduaghter, Victoria Brooks.

He worked as a pumper for Sand Springs Oil,retiring after 17 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett.

He is survived by a son, R. J. Nutter of Muldrow, Oklahoma; two daughters, Vicki Suit of Stinnett and Charlene Martin of Waxahachie, Texas. Seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The Family will be staying at 421 Geenough in Stinnett.
