Christine Gabriel

Christine Kay Gabriel, 58, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Celebration Family Church.  

Christine was born March 12, 1966, in Amarillo, Texas to Jimmy Lee Harvey and Susan Kay Hooks Harvey.  She was a member of Grace Church. Christine grew up a military brat which helped her not to be afraid to try anything and was always up for an adventure. She enjoyed going to the lake, watching soap operas, reading, taking hot baths, and tending to her plants.  Christine had a heart for cats and was a part of Soldier’s for Christ.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than her children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include her children, Shawn Brown of Pampa, Scotty Brown of Borger, Lacey Jellison and husband Bob of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; parents, Susan and Billy Ramsey of Borger; brother, Chet Ramsey of Borger; sisters, Melissa Purcell of Borger, Lynna Awsley of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and a host of extended family.
